Welcome to the School of Adventure Studies. We are located in Fort William in the Highlands of Scotland at the foot of Ben Nevis (Britain’s highest mountain) beside Loch Linnhe.
We are the fastest growing school of adventure studies in the UK and are located in the finest location for outdoor activities, possibly in the world. Amazing paddling rivers of all grades flow from the mountains which make up our natural playground all set against the marvellous landscapes of the West Coast and the Islands of Skye, Rum, Eigg, Canna and Muck.
Our academic team includes lecturers who publish in the field as well as those who are highly experienced in the adventure tourism world. Please have a browse through our staff pages to get a feel for the breadth and depth of talent involved in the course delivery.
To find out more about what it is like to study in the Highlands on such a course, please join our Facebook page. Please contact us if you would like to know more, or; if you feel you are up to the challenge of studying in this wild and varied natural environment.
