The courses offered at West Highland College UHI Auchtertyre range from access level through to degree and post-graduate level. Whichever path you choose you will benefit from the support of studying at your local college centre whilst accessing the resources and technologies of a wider college and university network.

Our networked courses are studied using video conferencing and our virtual learning environment which allows students in different locations to come together as a 'virtual' class with their lecturer.

For many this is a new way of studying and centre staff are on hand to ensure that you are comfortable with your new learning environment and that you settle in quickly to your course of study.

As part of the University of the Highlands and Islands you can choose to study one of over 30 degree and post-graduate programmes which are offered on a full-time and part-time basis.

Our part-time and open learning courses offer you the opportunity to develop your personal skills and knowledge in a number of areas and are a good introduction for anyone returning to education or wishing to gain the relevant qualifications for work and further study.

Attendance on these courses varies from one day a week to 3 hours an evening, with some courses offering flexible start dates and flexible study patterns. Some of the courses are taught face-to-face in Auchtertyre and others involve self-study. Please contact us or call in to the centre to find out more.
