As part of our commitment to developing the young workforce in Scotland, we work with Highland Council and local schools to offer a range of additional course choices to pupils in S3-S6.  These are designed to complement the school curriculum and offer pupils the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills in new areas.

Courses on offer include in Business Skills, Computing, Creative Media and Design, Software Development, Social Services Children and Young People and Social Service and Healthcare. Other courses available include Construction Crafts, Early Education and Childcare, Digital Media Animation and Web Design and an Introduction to Outdoor Adventure.

The latter is delivered in partnership with the School of Adventure Studies and is the perfect introduction for young people who are interested in a career in outdoor adventure and who may wish to go on to study the Certificate in Outdoor Adventure in Broadford.

The courses are usually timetabled for one full day a week at our college centre.
