Alan Sears

Alan moved to Ullapool with his wife Sara and four children in 2008 after spending the first 8 years of married life in Stirling.

After an early career in the Aviation Insurance industry in the City of London Alan changed direction and enrolled at the University of Stirling where he graduated in 2003 with a BSc (1st class) in Human Resource Management and 2006 with an MSc in HRM.

Alan's career in HR includes regional and HR management roles with NHS Forth Valley, Scottish Ambulance Service and Inverness College. Alan is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Since 2017 Alan has been running his own HR and Health and Safety Consultancy business.
