Chainsaw - Maintenance, Cross-cutting & Felling (4 Day) Certificate

What is special about this course?

This is a 4 day, integrated training and assessment course, with Lantra certificate of competence on completion.

Over the 4 days you will cover chainsaw maintenance, cross-cutting and felling of trees up to 200mm in diameter.

It is ideal for the occasional user i.e landscapers, gamekeepers, greenkeepers, farmers and those who require training to use a chainsaw on their own premises. It is a good starting point for those who have little or no experience with chainsaws.

This course is suitable for learners who are occasional users and don't intend to work in arboriculture or forestry, or to use a chainsaw as a central part of their working activity. This integrated training and assessment course is not suitable for a Professional User.

I thoroughly enjoyed the course and I am amazed at how much I learned and how much confidence I have now gained in using my chainsaw. The course was excellent, the instructor was so knowledgeable and informative, helpful and patient and also very funny with some great stories to tell, I have learned so much from him. I would highly recommend the course to anyone.
