Into Care (NPA Social Services & Healthcare) SCQF Level 6

What is special about this course?

Our new "Into Care" course is designed to help you develop the skills and knowledge required by employers and service users to increase the number of care workers in the local area. Due to the increasing number of people living longer there is a greater need for care workers to help support these individuals in daily living, and personal care.

The Scottish Government, NHS and many service providers have recognised this gap in service provision. We are keen to encourage participation in this course, to help satisfy this demand.

This course will allow you to develop your skills and knowledge in a number of care subjects and will prepare them for working with adults of all ages and various needs. It will also prepare you for the possibility of taking your learning to a higher level by progressing to NC and HNC courses should you wish to further your skills (additional qualifications required).
