Into Childcare (NPA Social Services, Children & Young People) SCQF Level 6
What is special about this course?
Our new "Into Childcare" course is designed to help you develop the skills and knowledge required by employers and service users to increase the number of childcare workers in the local area. You will develop skills and knowledge in a number of childcare subjects that will prepare you for working with young children.
It will also prepare you for the possibility of taking your learning to a higher level by progressing to NC and HNC courses should you wish to further your skills (additional qualifications required).

What can I do on completion of my course?
Progression from this course will include NC Early Education & Childcare and HNC Childhood Practice with additional qualifications. Successful students already in employment could also undertake the SVQ2 Social Services (Children & Young People) qualification to allow them to register as a practitioner with the SSSC.
