What is special about this course?
The course is special and is different from normal college courses. You'll study from your workplace to gain an SCQF Level 5 qualification. There is no day release because our assessors visit you at work instead.
Candidates should be in a job or placement where they are carrying out relevant tasks and responsibilities, which allow them to gather the required evidence. No prior qualifications or knowledge are required to undertake this qualification. Suitable experience/knowledge of the retail industry would be an advantage.

The mandatory units in this qualification cover the relevant areas of importance within this industry such as maintaining health, safety and security and moving and handling goods in logistics operations.
The optional units provide scope to specialise in areas such as maintaining stock at required levels, operating equipment and maintaining the safety of hazardous goods and materials in logistics operations.
You will study 3 mandatory units and 5 optional units. Your Assessor will help you select the range of units that suit your role/career goals best.
