What is special about this course?

This structured course will offer an introduction to this wonderful medium. Week by week you will be exploring the basic skills and equipment needed to paint your own “work of art”. The course is designed to build up your confidence and to cover all aspects of water colour to help you understand the materials and techniques used to develop your own style of painting.

There are no formal entry requirements.

Capture sea, sky, branches, trees and foliage:

  • Putting into practice colour mixing, brushes, brush care and papers
  • Exploring different techniques such as: dry brushing, simple washes and splattering
