Open Days 2019

We are holding a series of Open Days around our college centres over the next few weeks.  These are a great opportunity to drop in, have a look around and meet lecturers and support staff.

Our School of Adventure Studies team will be welcoming students from as far afield as Germany in Fort William on March 9th – to find out more about our

  • BA (Hons) Adventure Tourism Management
  • BA (Hons) Adventure Performance and Coaching
  • BA (Hons) Adventure Education
  • BA (Hons) Marine and Coastal Tourism
  • Certificate of Outdoor Leadership
  • National Certificate in Outdoor Adventure

But we have something for everyone, so you are invited to call in to find out about courses that lead to careers in any of our subject areas including

  • Business, Hospitality and Cookery
  • Computing and Creative Digital Skills
  • Construction and Maritime
  • Creative Arts
  • Health, Education and Childcare

In particular, our Education and Care team will be hoping to meet candidates for our

Men into Care and Men into Childcare track courses which will start in April and are designed to give a grounding in subjects that, if successfully completed, will guarantee students a place on one of our HNC Social Services or HNC Childhood Practice courses.

In Portree, there will be taster sessions schedled to give you a feel for the sorts of things you could be studying on the course and in Broadford, you'll get an exciting insight into courses that have a major element of their content outdoors  from our Crofting and Countryside Skills and Outdoor Adventure teams.

If you would like to come along to one of our Open Days, do call us on 01397 874000 or book a place online here so that we can be sure you’ll get all the information you need.
