Kendra joined CRTR in April 2021 to support the administration and communication of a range of projects funded through the ERASMUS+ and Northern Periphery and Arctic programmes.
Having moved to the Highlands in 2003, Kendra realised she wanted to combine her passions for rural life and community spirit. Following Rural Studies BSc (Hons) from Newcastle University she went on to work with community development trusts, charities and other organisations covering a broad scope of topics including heritage, climate change, community development/resilience and carbon accounting.
A keen believer in the power of community, Kendra is a director for her village hall, a community councillor, chair of a local SCIO and secretary of the local playgroup. She has recently discovered the joys of growing her own vegetables and can often be found in the polytunnel.
