At West Highland College UHI we work in close partnership with each of our 9 local secondary schools, with Highland Council and with businesses and organisations across the area to offer a wide range of opportunities which complement the school curriculum.
Pupils in the senior phase (S4, S5 and S6) can study one day per week in college, helping to shape their future career and studies, by bridging the gap between school and college/university and the world of work.
After discussion with parents and guidance teachers, pupils can choose from a wide range of course options including Construction, Professional Cookery, Early Education and Childcare and our Foundation Apprenticeships, which can be studied alongside other subject choices like National 5s and Highers. More information on what’s available in each school can be found on the page Your School.
