Sound Production Recording NPA
About...
Do you have an interest in and/or experience of sound production? Do you want to learn more about working in the audio industry in a music and performing arts environment? This qualification is a starting point for those interested in that industry.
This NPA will develop your individuality through the creative process, and it uses problem-based learning approaches to encourage creative and technical skills and competences as well as critical problem solving and project management skills. The course covers studio skills, basics of audio engineering, and also gives you a chance to work on a creative project which brings together all of the skills you have learnt across the other units.

You will have a pass at National 5 level, demonstrate a keen interest in sound production and have a satisfactory reference.
