We are seeking an Instructor – Bakery to be based at our Portree centre.

The successful candidate will be required to deliver structured training to school pupils in the college, using a variety of approaches to enable them to meet the standards required. Carrying out assessments to the standards set by the industry/awarding body, maintaining accurate
assessment records, evaluating student performance and achievement, making recommendations and highlighting support needs as appropriate are also requirements of the role.

An industry related qualification at SCQF 6 or above, or recent, relevant industry experience is essential. Experience as a trainer / instructor is desirable. Candidates without a formal teaching qualification will be required to undertake one we provide upon commencing this role.

Successful candidates must be self-motivated and enthusiastic, with the ability to problem solve and relate to students of all ages.
