West Highland College UHI is looking to recruit a School of Adventure Studies Lecturer on a fixed term contract. The role will involve the specialist delivery, assessment and leadership on our ‘Adventure Therapy’ module at SCQF L9.

The post involves delivering the module at our Fort William Campus through lectures, tutorials and practical outdoor experiences. There is scope to also deliver a percentage of the material online if appropriate either live or through our virtual learning environment. This post will include the module leadership, dissertation supervision and some student academic tutoring support.

There may be an opportunity to become involved in the development and delivery of our new Post Graduate Certificate in Outdoor and Adventure Therapeutic Practice depending on qualifications and experience.

The suitable candidate will ideally be working in a similar role in Higher Education or above and have Practitioner experience in Adventure Therapy in a range of adventure disciplines.
