As part of our vision of ‘Excellence for All’, West Highland College UHI is seeking to recruit for the following post to help lead the further development and implementation of the College’s strategies for digital and STEM. This post provides an opportunity for experienced managers to join a small but highly performing college at an exciting time in its development.
This is a key role providing strategic leadership on the development and implementation of the College’s digital and STEM strategy and curriculum plans. There will be a requirement to build organisational capacity and resource, build and maintain links with industry and key stakeholders and provide expert input into the design and build of the practical workshops within a new Centre for Science and Technology in Fort William.
The successful candidate will be qualified to SCQF level 10 in an engineering related discipline or hold relevant industry qualifications and have experience of working in a dynamic and innovative engineering environment, together with links to education and training. Experience of leading and managing specialist STEM curriculum learning spaces and facilities is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills and a track record of working autonomously and with a diverse range of colleagues and stakeholders is essential.
