West Highland College UHI is looking to recruit a Project Officer, to be based in Fort William.
This will be a 33-month fixed-term appointment to the Centre for Recreation & Tourism Research. The post holder will be primarily responsible for working with the Projects Manager to manage and deliver an exciting new maritime cultural heritage project, “The Coast that Shaped the World”, working in partnership with a range of organisations in the Highlands and Islands.
The successful applicant will need to have in-depth knowledge of both cultural heritage and the tourism industry, and be confident in the use of digital marketing.
Experience of project management is a requirement of this post as the successful applicant will be required to use systems for budgeting, monitoring and reporting to the funding body. Additionally there is a requirement to be able to undertake surveys and analyse data and findings.
This natural and cultural heritage project is part-funded through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)
