Health and Social Care NC Level 6
Health and social care is provided in settings such as nursing homes, residential homes, hospitals and resource centres for people with learning disabilities. It covers a range theoretical and practical topics, and you'll investigate what types of care are available and the responsibilities of a care worker.

HNC Social Services is a nationally recognised qualification and a valued award for people who want to work in a variety of social service settings, supporting individuals with varying needs. SWAP Access to Nursing
If you'd like to train in the health industry but lack the necessary qualifications, this could be the course for you. The Scottish Widening Access Programme (SWAP) is specifically for people who have been out of formal education for at least 3 years. It prepares adult returners for entry into Higher Education and can lead to a place at college or university.
